Mike Sanford lives in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas with his wife of 48 years, Melinda. They have two grown children, Lindsay and Mike, along with 6 grandchildren. 

Mike spent 43 years as a college and NFL Football Coach, which included serving as Head Football Coach at UNLV from 2005-2009. Before he joined FCA staff, he spent 5 years as the Head Football Coach and Associate Director of Advancement at Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas. 

Mike said, “Starting with my decision to commit my life to Jesus Christ during my high school freshman year because a senior track athlete invited me to read the Gospel of John, my life has been a story of faith in Jesus, sports, influencing young people for Christ, and FCA. With this history as the background of my life, I am excited to move onto this role as the Southern Nevada Multi-Area Director for FCA."
